Yatora Yaguchi: The art I see in my head always looks so damn cool. But with every stroke I lay down, one, after another... I ruin my art, more and more.
Yatora Yaguchi: I've done my fair share of playing and studying. I thought I was living my life efficiently. But I got hooked on art. And for the first time in my life, I started to take things seriously. Even though I used to think that there was no future to be had in art.
Yatora Yaguchi: When it came to work and play, I always went all in. Though that didn't make them feel any more real. But when I expressed myself to others through painting, it was like the first time I ever really talked with people.
Yatora Yaguchi: Art is interesting because you can't understand everything just from reading a book. Our senses lead the way, and logic will follow. If so, then I'll just enjoy myself. I'll have fun with it.
Yatora Yaguchi: Of course it's impossible to understand everything about art. Highbrow... High barriers to entry... Maybe it doesn't need to be like that. Thinking "I don't really get it," used to stop me in my tracks... But just now, I took a small step.
